1. Zelo is not a bank
Zelo is not a bank, a licensed payment institution, a money transmitter, an e-money issuer, or a government-authorised financial service provider. We do not hold a banking licence in any jurisdiction. Funds reflected in your Zelo account are not bank deposits and are not protected by deposit-insurance schemes such as DICGC, FDIC, FSCS, or any equivalent.
2. Nature of the service
The Platform is an independent digital coupon-based settlement system. Coupons sold through Zelo are digital products. Account "balances" are internal ledger entries representing the aggregate value of those products and any transfers received, less amounts you have transferred or settled. Balances do not earn interest and are not transferable outside the Platform except through the settlement process described in our Terms.
3. Settlements are manual service payouts
Settlement requests (UPI / USDT TRC-20) are processed manually by Zelo administrators as service payouts. They are not interbank transfers, money remittances, foreign-exchange transactions, or regulated payment services. Most requests are completed within 48 to 72 hours of submission, and may take longer on weekends, public holidays or during high-volume periods. Processing times are best-effort and may vary based on operational factors such as request volume, payout-channel availability, and additional verification.
4. Use at your own risk
Use of Zelo is entirely at your own risk. Risks include but are not limited to: payment-channel disruptions, temporary or extended platform downtime, regulatory changes that affect availability of the service, account suspension following compliance review, and total loss of access in the event of fraud, sanctions, or legal action against the operator.
Do not place on the Platform any amount you cannot afford to be temporarily or permanently inaccessible.
5. Tax and regulatory reporting
You remain solely responsible for any tax, declaration, or reporting obligations that arise from your use of the Platform under the laws of your country of residence and any other jurisdiction relevant to you. Zelo does not provide tax forms or withhold taxes on your behalf, except where specifically required to do so by law.
6. No financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on this website, in our app, in our blog, learn articles, marketing emails, or support communications constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Information is provided for general informational purposes only. For advice on your specific situation, consult an independent qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.
7. Third-party services and links
The Platform may include links to or interoperate with third-party services such as payment-rail providers, authenticator apps, or KYC verification tools. Zelo does not control these services and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, or terms. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's terms.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure incidents, regulatory action, or events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
9. No warranty
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zelo disclaims all such warranties.
